Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry: AI Radiographic Analysis, Intraoral Scanning, and Chairside CAD/CAM

Learning Objectives:

• AI Diagnostics using AUI, Augmented Intelligence Amplification, to assist and quantify dental radiographic analysis.
• AI in Intraoral Scanning will show image stitching, margin detection, error recognition and occlusal analysis.
• AI in CAD/CAM with clinical cases that will highlight automated design, crown morphology proposals, milling and predictive delivery of indirect restorations.

Presenter Qualifications:

Dr. Jinny Bender is a full-time clinical staff dentist and CAD/CAM expert at Glidewell. She practiced general dentistry for 27 years as a managing dentist for a large DSO and private practices prior to joining Glidewell in 2022. She lectures throughout the country and teaches advanced dental technology courses using a modern-day CAD/CAM milling system. She has published numerous articles about digital dentistry and associated dental material applications. Dr. Bender is a member of the ADA, CDA, KADA and OCDS. She holds leadership positions as a Board Member for Orange County Dental Society and House of Delegate for CDA and ADA. And she is also a graduate from the prestigious Guiding Leaders Program in 2022.
